I'm lily and this is my first time attempt at a simple little craft blog..a place to share my hobby♥ ♥

I am new in this craft sewing. I've ever done anything like this.....and my emotions range from super excited.......to super nervous. But  I've always enjoyed decorating and making things for my home and I find that making pillows is one of the easiest and inexpensive ways to transform and update almost any room in the house.

 what is the fabric felt??

Durable , versatile and easy to work with, few other materials are as popular as felt fabric.
Felt is a common fabric with many different uses. Most felt is a non-woven cloth that is created with a mixture of glue, pressure and steam that mats fibers together. Felt materials is produced in variety of colors , and it is widely used in craft fabric, a base fabric and a backing fabric.
Although some types of felt are very soft, some are tough enough to form construction materials. It is can be cut at any angle , and the edges will be not unravel as most other fabric do. Felt can be dyed to create many different  colours, and can be made into many different shapes or sizes..

how it's made?? 

Felt is made by rubbing wool fibers together so that they become irreversibly tangled. Through the addition of alternating hot and cold water, the wool shrinks and becomes a fabric.

materials?? 

Typical fibers used for felt include wool and polyester or wool and nylon. Synthetic fibers can be felted if they are combined with wool, since they cannot be turned into felt by themselves. Felt is a fairly inexpensive fabric, typically sold in 8 1/2 by 11-inch squares, or by the yard.

functions??

Felt has many uses. It can be used, among other things, to polish, for display boards, as fabric, for crafts, and as packing material.

size and colors??

You can find felt in many different colors. You can also find felt in a variety of sizes, from the standard size of paper (8"x11") to industrial size rolls, simmilar to the size of rolls of carpeting for a house.

What is your favourite part of your handmade business ?

Honestly, i love every part of it but my obsolute favourite would be the finishing touches and when i finally insert the pillow form and it takes shape.
